SAN DIEGO (May 19, 2017) The official party salutes as Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD) Color Guard parades the colors during a centennial ceremony. The ceremony was held to celebrate the Centennial of NMCSD. The Navy’s first permanent medical facility in San Diego was established in Balboa Park on May 20, 1917.
