Another part of the exhibit is composed of electric vehiclecells, showing the use of an electrochemical positive and pastednegative. The separators in the automobile cells are entirelyof rubber, no wood being used. All of the stationary work shownis finished in polished oak, which gives a very handsome ap-pearance. Large photographs of typical Gould plants are dis-tributed about the booth. A set of cells for train lighting isshown in connection with the Gould car lighting system. Avery handsome blue Vermont switchboard consisting of six. SWITCHBOARD AND BOOSTER panels of blue Vermont marble has been erected to be used inconnection with the various batteries, motors and generatorsin the exhibit. The separate panels show the standard switch-board sold by the Gould Company for floating railway bat-teries, booster regulating batteries, isolated charging plants andfor the special features shown in connection with the plant. Amotor-generator set taking current at 220 volts on the motorside and delivering 110 volts to the motor of the counter elec-tromotive force booster set is also shown. The booster charges60 cells of battery, and with it the method of applying theGould booster system to the regulation of varying loads isdemonstrated. The Indianapolis & Northwestern and the Union Tractioncompanies have just issued new folders with revised time-tables of their lines.
