These four rooms were onlyjust sufficient for my purposes and were assigned the followingfunctions : The large room in front was the dignity room, a smallroom behind was used as a dispensary and consulting-room, whilethe two remaining rooms were the bedroom and sitting-room respec-tively. Perhaps the term dignity room requires explanation. Thisroom had evidently been the sitting-room of the family, but wouldnot have suited me for that purpose.
