A double-barrelled percussion shotgun, Blasius Sailer in Ehingen, circa 1820 Smooth two-stage barrels in mm calibre, octagonal then round, the front half attached. The midrib with silver-inlaid tendrils, the tops of the barrels with motto (tr.) "I am a hunter, in the distance I stand and I like shooting foxes and birds". Converted percussion locks. Half stock with typical, lavish silver inlays (some are missing) and finely engraved, iron furniture. Later wooden ramrod with horn tip. Traces of age and use, the stock with cracks and repairs.
