High Street, Southend on Sea, Essex, UK. 6th Jan, 2024. Protesters have set up in Southend’s High Street protesting against the government’s ban on XL Bully dogs. They have set up a ‘memorial’ to dogs that would allegedly need to be euthanised, with the addition of fake blood. The UK Government banned the XL Bully breed under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 following a series of serious and, in some cases, fatal attacks.
