A Medieval basilard circa 1350-1400. In excavated condition, formed in one piece, with unusually long blade of flattened diamond section tapering to a narrow point, cut with a pair of diverging fullers on both sides at the forte, the tang hollow on one side and extending to a T-shaped openwork pommel (quillons missing).
