Sheep (Ovis) are a species of ungulates Bovidae from the subfamily Caprinae. Until this generation include the sheep and its wild relatives as the mouflon, the argali and bighorn sheep. Sheep have glands behind the eyes, on the feet and in the groin. The tail is rather short. Female sheep (ewes) are generally quite smaller horns, although some breeds of domesticated sheep and subspecies of mouflon are where the females do not have horns.
