Wrigley Field's 100th birthday was on April 23, 2014. The game that day marked the 100-year anniversary of the historic stadium's opening in 1914. The landmark stadium, the home of the Chicago Cubs, at Clark and Addison streets is by far the oldest Major League venue in the National League of Major League Baseball. The entrance facade surrounding the marque features specialized, temporary banners to further commemorate the 100th anniversary.
