Changeable bony-headed tree frog (Osteocephalus mutabor). This is the adult form. The juveniles have different colouration. This frog is found in lowland forests, rivers and marches in Ecuador and Peru. The adhesive pads on its elongated toes allow it to grasp and climb trees while the protruding eyes allow a wide range of binocular vision. Tree frogs feed mainly on insects and other small invertebrates. Photographed in Ecuador.
