The decorated front of a traditional, male Saami tunic worn by a young boy in Kautokeino, Norway. The neck opening is held together by a silver clasp. At the top is seen part of the blue silk scarf that is worn around the neck. The dark blue tunic is made of wool. Kautokeino, which is mainly inhabited by ethnic Saami, is a Nordic centre of Saami culture.
