concentration in Gran Via by AnimaNaturalis for what happened in the Vivotecnia laboratory The Cruelty Free International organization uncovered in this same medium the impeccable research work of Vivotecnia employee Carlota Saorsa (obviously, a pseudonym), the networks have burned, the media have covered the news, the scientific community has been forced To react, civil society, activists and entities have shown their rejection and several complaints are underway. And yet the victims are still in their cages. Last Thursday, April 8, was a hectic day for the editors of this blog and myself. Cruelty Free International made public, after many months of impeccable investigation, the video with terrible images of the cruelty perpetrated against animals in the Vivotecnia laboratory in Madrid. the animals are still in their cages. We do not know how many, it is not known of what species, or in what state they are. Despite the questions that from different instances have been posed to those responsible, it is not known if the veterinarian who is supposedly in charge of the safety of these animals, after the Community of Madrid closed the laboratory, is external or staff of the laboratory Vivotecnia. After the first stupor - the images are so gore that they seem a lie - it was the activists who reacted by appearing at the doors of Vivotecnia to demand the release of the animals. #RescateVivotecnia became a trending topic and continued to be so in the following days. The petition for signatures on the platform to close the laboratory has already exceeded half a million people.
