Sternoclavicular joint. Artwork of the bones (yellow) and ligaments (blue) of the sternoclavicular joint, as seen from the front. This joint is where the sternum (breastbone) articulates with the clavicles (collar bones). Below this are sternomanubriocostal articulations (joints between the sternum and the ribs), including costal (rib) cartilage. Parts of the joints are sectioned to expose the internal interossicular joint structure.
