The fine pure bred shorthornherd formerly belonging to the Earl of Dunmore liasbeen dispersed, but a few of the leading proprietorskeep small herds. The horses are chielly Clydcsd;i ts,and some of the farmers are well-known breeders. Thebest sheep are blackfaced, but there are also Leicestersand crosses.
