Frozen, iced-up telescope on the viewing platform of the Ptarmigan Restaurant, part of the Upper Station for the Cairngorm Mountain Railway. The wind was gusting up to 95mph, the wind-chill factor was minus 25 degrees and the Upper Station and railway were closed shortly after this photograph was taken.
