Protestant Matthew church, Matthäuskirche built 1876-1880 designed by the architect Emil Gette in Steglitz, Berlin. Medieval Brandenburg brick Gothic style listed building. It replaced the dilapidated Steglitzer village church and the church, parish hall, rectory and cemetery are listed. It was damaged in an air raid on March 1, 1945 and almost all the church windows were destroyed. It was renovated in 1957 by architect Dr. Gabler The tower is 68 metres high and had three cast steel bells but these were replaced with new bronze bells in 2018 after the tower threatened to old steel bells are on display near the church entrance
