War Veteran by Ronald Rae 1997 carved from granite, this life-size sculpture of a landmine victim depicts the human cost of war and is based on the artist's grandfather, who fought in the Battle of the Somme. The piece is on exhibition and previously featured in the Landmine Exhibition at Leeds Royal Armouries which was dedicated to the work of Princess Diana.
