An Electric Railway Near London The Electricitats-Gesellschaft Wandruszka & Cie, of Berlin, thegeneral European agents for the Steel Motor Company, and John-son Company, in Johnstown and Lorain, Pa., U. S. A., have re-cently built and are operating an electric railway in AlexandraPark, situated in the north of London, near Wood Green, astation of the Great Northern Railway. The road was opened fortraffic on May 15, 1898, and the results of operation thus far havebeen very satisfactory to the public and to the owners. The line is one-half mile long and four motor cars, each havinga seating capacity of fifty persons, are in operation.
