Conway Hall, 25 Red Lion Square, London, UK. 17th February, 2016. Organised by the People's Assembly Against Austerity group, a jam packed event consisting of junior medical staff and supporters joined together to take part in an emergency rally at the Conway Hall in central London. The “Not Without a Fight, No to Imposition” rally was held in response to the recent controversial junior doctors contract, imposed by health minister Jeremy Hunt and the conservative government. Guest speakers included: YANNIS GOURTSOYANNIS - BMA Junior Doctors Committee; DANIELLE TIPLADY - Student Nurse; VANESSA REDGRAVE – Actor; KEN LOACH – Filmmaker; FRANCESCA MARTINEZ – Comedian; NATALIE BENNETT - Green Party.
