NORFOLK, Va. (Oct. 1, 2018) Capt. Joseph R. Obrien, commanding officer of the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7), leads Rear Adm. Brad Skillman, commander, Expeditionary Strike Group 2, onto the ship. Iwo Jima recently departed its homeport of Naval Station Mayport following the completion of a scheduled continuous maintenance availability.
