In the middle of the Piazza Carlo Emanuele II, better know as Piazza Carlina, there is a large statue of Camillo Benso di Cavour by Giovanni Duprè (1872); the Church of Santa Croce, work of Filippo Juvarra (1718), today is used as Romanian orthodox church.
