Rudder relinquished command to Lt. Gen. William M. Jurney. With two-thirds of the Marine Corps’ operating forces assigned, MARFORPAC operates in the Indo-Pacific Command area of responsibility, the largest Geographical Combatant Command in the Department of Defense.
