LA - Southwest Pass. Southwest Pass Light Station, Louisiana. From SW corner towards the NE corner of enclosure. The piledriver, having nearly completed the circuit, is near the starting point of the enclosure. On the eastern half of the North side of the embankment the piles are capped, a temporary track laid, and the upper wall, against which the sheet planking is to be spiked, is in position. In the distance the "Florida" drying sails. Just abaft the foremast is seen the lighthouse.
