A Dornier 228NG of the German Central Command for Maritime Emergencies organization taxis down the runway at RAF Fairford as it arrived for the 2013 Royal International Air Tattoo. Billed as the world's largest military air show, the RIAT is held each year at RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire England. This version of the Dornier 228 is specialy equipped with numerous technologies to monitor pollution control. These include Side Looking Airborne Radar (SLAR), AIS Transponder among others.
