A curious sort forming curled leaves in addition to the bulb. The leaves give a very good dish, being much more tender than kale, and stands winters well. It is good be- fore or after frost. In Germany the farmers cut the bulbs in half and it then produces several small bulbs again, each with leaves. Pkt. 10 cts.; oz. 30 cts. SPROUTING- BROCOLI. Furnishes an excellent and most refreshing salad. In- stead of heading like the ordinary Brocoli, it forms trusses of flowers in great numbers, and can be cut for months. Sown in March or April it is ready in a few weeks. It stands the heat very well, and after being cut grows again and again ; valuable in the Ssuth for greens.
