Glass Radish—So named on account of its flesh, which is a transparent white, crisp, mild flavor, and brittle, even when grown to a large size. Hoots scarlet-rose above shading into white at the tip. They are long, cylindrical for the upper two-thirds, and then gradually taper to the tip. Flesh white, crisp and mild flavored.
