The plan to take Chunuk Bair was ambitious all right. Most of us were tired and sick, but we couldn't wait to take part. Four regiments of Mounted Rifles would open the door by taking the foothills of the Sari Bair range. They'd be supported by 200 men from the Maori Contengent and New Zealand Engineers. Our infantry would then come through and seize the summit of Chunuk Bair. If everything went to plan, victory would be ours. Taken @Wellington city, New Zealand
