A flintlock shotgun, Carpathian Region, circa 1800. Octagonal barrel with smooth bore in 12 mm calibre with an iron front sight and a cut rear sight. Iron flintlock with remnants of copper solder on the flat lock plate. Wooden stock entirely covered with geometric inlays of bone pieces, twisted brass wire, and coloured glass beads. A Cyrillic stamp "Lemberg National Museum" on the back of the patchbox lid. Chased brass barrel bands and patchbox bands. Iron trigger guard. Wooden ramrod with brass tip. Length 115 cm.
