She received an artificial leg which she has used without the spring of 1895 she had grown 2^ inches ; the leg was then lengthenedat a small cost, and she has been using it since. At first I was doubtful that a child of her age should have an artificiallimb, but am now convinced that a child cannot be too young, as this casewill show. Respectfully, J. William Trabert, M. D.
