Mr. McDougall has been for eighteen years president ofthe board of trustees of the Ottawa township high school. He held theoffice of master in chancery of the circuit court of La Salle county for oneterm and has been commissioner of the United States circuit and districtcourts for the northern district of Illinois for twenty j^ears. He is a member of Occidental Lodge, No. 40, A. F. & A. M., Shabonachapter. No. 37, R. A. M., Ottawa Commandery, K. T., Medinah McDougall is the senior member of the law firm of Mc Dougall,Chapman & Bayne, who are attorneys for nine banks in La Salle countyand numerous large corporations, including four of the most prominentemployers liability insurance companies in the LTnited States.
