The Masonic picnic at MocksVille,recently held cleared about $500, whichwas turned over to the Oxford OrphanAsylum. Dr. W. W. Gaither, a native of Cald-well county, but recently of Brunswick,died at his home in that county, lastMonday night. The National Florists Association,which has been in session at Asheville,has adjourned. The sessions were a de-cided success. The endowment fund of Salem FemaleAcademy has reached $30,000.
