A statue of Seyit Ali Çabuk (Turkish: Seyit Onbaşı), a First World War gunner in the Ottoman Army, famous for having carried three shells to an artillery piece during the Allied attempt to force the Dardanelles on 18 March 1915. Now on display at the Military Museum in Istanbul, Turkey, the Republic of Türkiye. This statue is now attached to the Cannon of the heroic private soldier, made at the German Krupp factories, 1876 to 1909 for coastal protection of Dardanelles.
