5TH FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS (Nov. 02, 2017) Aerographer’s Mate 2nd Class Jakob Kenna, a native of Cocoa Beach, Florida, assigned to the navigation department aboard the amphibious dock landing ship USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52), logs information into the deck log while standing a watch. Pearl Harbor is deployed in the 5th Fleet area of operations in support of maritime security operations designed to reassure allies and partners, and preserve the freedom of navigations and the free flow of commerce in the region.
