Then, too, the hand of the designer must be ableto follow flowing curves for entrance drives, shrub borders, etc., since allinformality is given a free hand. The landscape gardener is a practicalartist dealing with Natures materials in the making of his picture, but thepreliminary idea conceived in his mind and reproduced on paper, will re-flect in a material sense his training along this line of study.
