A miniature wheellock pistol, German, presumably 17th century. Octagonal barrel merging to round after a baluster with decorative etching on the front half. Etched lock, loose pan cover. Walnut stock with engraved bone inlays of jumping animals, leafy vines, flowers, and dots (almost completely preserved). Brass trigger guard and band. Lock function not tested. Length 100 mm.
