The Metropolitan police said "The Protest Liaison Team have been introduced to improve dialogue & understanding between protesters and the police". Hundreds of students marched through Central London as a result of the national day of walk-outs called by the National Union of Students. The march ended outside the Business, innovation and Skills building on Victoria Street.
