Bracelet with knots and wedjat eye, Third Intermediate Period, late Dynasty 21, ca. 1000–945 , From Egypt, Upper Egypt, Thebes, Deir el-Bahri, Tomb of Henettawy F, 1923–24, Linen, faience, Diam. ca. 4 cm (1 9/16 in.), Found around the right wrist of the mummy, this double strand of two-ply linen, knotted at intervals, was strung with a single wedjat eye of blue faience. A representation of the healed eye of the falcon-god Horus, this was a powerful symbol of protection and regeneration
