One of the earliest, of good quality and of medium size ; a fine forcer, small top. Early Eclipse. (See cut.) Smooth and round ; skin and flesh intense red ; fine-grained and sweet ; an excellent sort for forcing. Arlington Favorite Blood. (See cut.) .A dark- leaved, early blood variety, closely following Eclipse in ma- turing, but of much darker color and superior in quality; perfectly round ; it differs from the other blood sorts
