Two halves of this beard meet at a little gap on the chin of this man. ASIA: THIS PHOTOGRAPHER spent THREE years hunting down Asia?s most enviable BEARDS. In one image, an Indian priest proudly held the ends of his extremely long beard which measured around five-foot long. In another, a Nepalese man showcased his bright orange beard which had been twisted into a decorative knot. Photographer Carol Foote (70) from Queensland, Australia, spent three years travelling across Asia capturing the best beards the continent had to offer. From the intricate beards of India to the bonkers beards of Bhutan, Carol encountered all kinds of facial hair. The longest beard ever to be recorded is thought to have belonged to a Norwegian man named Hans Langseth. The 17ft 6in beard has been stored in the Smithsonian Institute in Washington , USA, since 1967. / Carol Foote
