A single row of rooms is better than two rows witha hall between, for several reasons. High windows on the rear and right of the pupils we be-lieve are also desirable. These windows, about the size ofthe upper sashes on the left, are desirable for ventilation ifnot for light. Where there is a central corridor it will bevery much better lighted by this system than by the uni-lateral-lighting plan.
