His father, Ezekiel Cook, was a native of EasternMassachusetts; his mother, Barbara Ann (Hodge) Cook, was born at Albany,New York. Received B. S. from Michigan Agricultural College, 1862; M. S.,1865; D. Sc, 1905; studied at Harvard 1867-68; married (1) Mary H. Bald-win of Dayton, O., June 30, 1870; (2) Mrs. Sarah Eldredge, of Pasadena,. ALBERT JOHN COOK. California, July 3, 1897.
