It is a richdeep yellow in color,and far superior tothe Yellow Ovid, ofwhich it is an im-proved selection; isvery hardy and oneof the earliest to ma-ture. Itis the very best sort for feeding cows,sheep or swine, and has yielded from 30 to 40 tons per acre atan average cost of 5 cents per bushel, making it a most valu-able vegetable for the stock farmer.
