A very desirable bedding plant, which will please the cultivator. Crocosmiieflora—F lowers orange-colored, arranged in a compound raceme somewhat like an orchid. 20 cents. PANICUM PLICA- TUM. An ornamental g:rass with broad finely recurving blades with a white stripe through the center of each : grows about 12 to 18 inches high, and is quite pretty. 20 cents. PAMPAS GRASS- Gynerium Ar- genteum. A stately species of grass from South America, leet high, with plumes of silky white one to two feet in length ; it looks best as a single specimen. As it is not quite hardy North, it requires protection of eight or ten inches of leaves around the roots, or it can be removed to the cellar and replanted in the spring. 25 cents. PENNISETUM LONGISTYLUM. A handsome ornamental grass, grows about 18 inches high and bears in late summer large fox-tail like plumes, very pretty for the garden and also useful for winter bouquets. 20 cents. PEPEROMIA.
