Beautiful spring forest landscape with in area of mill stone and ice caves and beech trees in volcanic Eifel at Roth, Gerolstein Germany
Caves complex partly arise naturally as a result of volcanism and partly caused by human activity in which millstones were cut from the rock. In the caves was also natural ice stored for use in the summer period. Above the caves is a beautiful natural forest and can be seen remnants of collapsed mines.
