While Linneus was striving to build 130 up a practice as a physician a lady-in-wait-ing upon the queen had heard of a prescrip-tion that had miraculously cured a coughand that he-4tad written. She called uponhim and got a copy of it. Fortunately itacted like a charm,1 and the grateful pa-tient told the queen of how she got cured ofjust such a cough as was troubling
