PACIFIC OCEAN (April 6, 2017) Culinary Specialist Seaman Carlos Rojas, from Los Angeles, and Operations Specialist 2nd class Kevin Salazar, from Pomona, Calif., participates in security reaction force training aboard the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Princeton (CG 59) while underway for a composite training unit exercise (COMPTUEX) with the Nimitz Carrier Strike Group in preparation for an upcoming deployment. COMPTUEX tests the mission readiness of the strike group's assets through simulated real-world scenarios and their ability to perform as an integrated unit.
