The ground should have been deeply dug and made level on top previously. After setting out the plants see that the soil is made firm around them to prevent air from reaching the roots until new rootlets are formed. As the plants grow they should be earthed up. Don't larany dirt fall into the heart of the Celery. 'reinnie's giant white is without exception the most remark- able novelty in Celery obtained since the advent of Paris Golden Yellow. It is of handsome appearance ; sur- passing all other varieties in this re- spect. Grows rather taller than Paris Golden, and the stalks are remarkably large, thick, solid and entirely stringless. It is ihe largest Celery grown as regards width and thickness of stalks. Always very crisp and brittle, snapping like glass. The best keeper of all Celeries, i lb. $, o*. 30c, pkt 10c PARIS GOLDEN YELLOW. This is the best Celery for early family or market use. It is almost entirely self-blanching, of beautiful golden-yellow color, very attractive, and an excellent keeper. For market gardeners it is of unusual value, i lb. 60c, pkt 10c $, oz. WHITE PLUME.
