Saint Alichaa Monastery. The Monastery seems carved out of the living rock itself, and with all its material taken from the work site itself. It all dates back to well before 1315ad at an Altitude of 1,258 m This is one of the oldest Monasteries in Lebanon. The monastery was built around a large rocky pit, and this most probably by Byzantine emperor Theodos the Great in 379 - 395ad.
