General Manuel Quesada, born in Puerto Principe in 1833 was a Mexican army general, he commanded the de Galvanio expedition landing in Cuba on December 26th 1866. He was appointed general of the Camarguey forces and after of the Cuban army. He took Las Tunas; he was deposed from command in December of 1869. Died in 1886.
