Sir Robert died at Stratford Langton in the county of Essex,and was buried at Hard wick, Aug. 20th, 1616, aged 78. Onthe north side of the sanctuary of St. Marys Hardwick is amural monument with statues of Sir Robert and Lady Leewith their children, all represented kneeling. The following inscription stands on the upper part:—nobilis
