. Scenes of modern New York . THE HALL OF FAME FOR GREAT AMERICANS, University Heights at Sedgwick. Aqueduct and University avenues and East 181st Street. This semi-circular structure, over 500 feet long, is a striking feature of the New York University, the library of which institution it half-surrounds. It contains 150 eight-foot panels which will ultimately be inscribed with the names of departed great Americans. The first five names selected were: Washington, Lincoln, Webster,Franklin and Grant. The building cost $250,000 and was the gift of Miss Helen Gould to the University. — — .» ,, ..
